Good job with the initial tuning, and it sounds like you might find more. With the 4.10/32" and 135 mph you are going easy on that engine at the finish line (RPM). What do you find it likes to shift at?
Even with the "tight" converter, it seems to leave the starting line just fine. Do you have any idea what RPM the converter goes to at WOT?
Yeah I kind of favor low rpm set ups over high since I don't have a big budget so I try and make my engines live longer, I'm not sure what the thing goes to at WOT so I'll get back to you on that.

I like you car! Very cool looking and a nice combo also. Once you get the jetting squared you'll go 9's, I'd like to see 90 or 92 jets in the rear if you're not running power valves.
Thanks I do have power valves but I'm removing them.

Congrats on the new best and I really like your car!
"I'm going to check the rear jets in the morning and hopefully get in the 9's. "
I am betting there will be a bunch more "new bests" ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumbs.gif) Ever try the cam in later? I have 528 cubes,440-1 heads, cam at 110.
Thanks, I never have retarded a cam but I might give it a shot.
What triggered the thought was the SR heads on 526 cubes. It will be interesting to hear how it works out.
I might but that would move my power more toward the top end, I'll probably wait till I have more converter and gear. Thanks!
