Wade,

We have had Strange disks all around on our car for a long time.

A few years ago I upgraded the rears to dual caliber.

I like them, very easy to hold on the line. Can I lock up the rear slicks now? Yes, but it is very easy not to.

I have found Strange's customer service to have been very good over the years also.

Bill

I went with Strange through Dr Diff. Very quick and easy to install.

These are the 2 piece rotors for cars over 3,000lbs. 2 piece so they can disperse the heat better and not warp.

11" drums weighed 53 and these weigh 33 so a 20lbs weight savings.

No e-brake. Just dual calipers for extra holding/stopping. Typically a 11" drum will out brake a single caliper set up so you do dual for extra braking.

Hate to tell you this.. but drum brakes have a better
HOLDING ability.. disc have better STOPPING ability..
thats why I went with rear drums on my Rampage.. its
a foot brake car

That's why I went with the dual caliper set up and not the single caliper. Otherwise I would have stayed with the drums.

Mike, we ran the single caliper brakes for years, like you say they did not hold on the line as well as the drum brakes but they did stop a lot better.

However I got some of the dual caliper rears like Wade has and they hold better than the drum brakes ever did.
