I just received a call from John's daughter and am very sad to report that my friend, Super Stock racer John Tedder has passed away. He was suffering from a rare debilitating form of Parkinson's that causes paralysis, and is now at peace. Wow rest in Piece, I met him a very long time ago when my father was Running Weldtech (Chrysler funded training facility) Motech was in the same building. well long story short he gave me a ride in the 68 in the pits at Milan during a High School Nationals. Great Guy, really Great guy.

So sorry to hear this. I met John at a Chrysler training school in Virginia. I remember as we went to luch together and talked about his racing career. I will miss him. RIP John. Ron

I met him back in mid 70's when a friend of mine (mike Dawson) bought a hemi from him for his ss/aa cuda I helpped him build. I talked to him at dean Nicopolis funeral and he gave me his phone no. And talked to him a few times after that. He was a great guy he will surely be missed. Rip.

I knew him years ago as he and his wife were very good friends with my Grandparents. John along with my Grandfather were my inspirations to go to Motech. RIP John and may God Bless his family Was just looking through some old Direct Connection catalogs the other day and there was pics of his cars in them.
416 stroker from Nick at Compu-flow. 11.14 in full street trim. Seems like a new best every time out. 11.06 open headers----so far!!
