493" RB 11-1 comp with stock RPM heads cam is a hydraulic flat tappit scott brown 540 lift, with 265 ish duration (can't remember exact specs) 850 bigs carb rpm intake 3800 stall 3:73 dana 60
Runs 11 flat @ 120 in a 3800 lb Dart.
codfish Im gonna need every detail of ur build because im planning on doing almost the exact same thing, except w tko600. Dyno numbers? And cam operating rpm range.

From what he posted its very close, except it has slightly less duration and .540 lift while mine has .494...

Im pretty sure it’s 265@.050....... so about 40 degrees more duration than the voodoo 268....... and pretty far from what most think of when they’re talking “mild” cams.

This is an old thread but anyway, i have built a 493 stroker 10,04:1 compression ratio, Mopar 440-77 block 030 over, Eagle 4,150" crank, Eagle h rods 6,760", Mahle forged flattop pistons 8cc valve relife and 040" under deck, Comp cam xe275hl (231/237@050)and 0,525 lift both, Edelbrock e-street 84cc cylinder heads, Edelbrock rpm intake, Edelbrock 800cfm avs carb. Like i said 10,04:1 scr and theoretical dynamic compression with this cam 8,05:1, cylinder preassure 185psi, the engine running great here in Sweden at sea level without any detonation with 98 octane fuel(our 98 is same your 93 in the Usa, so pump gas), i have run it this summer for about 500 problem free miles. It has tremendous torque and make my over 4000 lbs Chrysler 300-64 to move like a bullet from a gun when i step on the throttle, torque is king on the street. Drive line is a 727 streetfighter, Tci break away 2400 stall, 3" drive shaft with 7290 universal joint, 8 3/4 with Eaton true trac helical differential and 3:55 gears and also one adjustable pinion snubber. I see all suggestions of cam shafts in this thread is much bigger than what im running in my engine with zero detonation with initial ignition at 16 degrees and full out 34 degrees at 3000 rpm, fuel same your 93 octane and in Sweden at sea level, my point is that its working to drive a pretty mild cam and get alot of torque, the important thing here is the dynamic compression ratio, in other words when the intake valve close after bdc, it should not be over 8,5:1 with aluminium heads and pump gas, you loose a point with aluminium heads. This is a great engine and idles smootly at 900 rpm and 15 hg/inch of vacuum.
