I have always liked cars that were given names by their owners. The names usually had a reason/story behind them. I had been trying to come with a name for mine for quite awhile. A few months ago, this came to mind and pretty much sums up my frustrations over the years. I had always liked the 'Valiant Effort' moniker, but I wanted something original. Hopefully, this is original, as I have never seen it before. Share yours!!!

My Road Runner back in 1978-79. It's going to be painted up just like this, only with a modern chassis under it.

My Dad had a white 1957 Chrysler 300. - 392 hemi car. He referred to it as "Mody Dick" as in the movie with the same name. My brother raced it in stock form at Cordova drag strip in Illinois. Car ran 15.90 at 90 mph off the showroom floor using only first and second gear. Before he passed away in 97, he gave me his 1979 Chrysler 300. My intention was to sell it. Couldn't do it. I race it under the same name. To date that car has run 10.50 @ 128.38 mph with plenty left in it - if I ever get it sorted out. My Dad was a real car guy. He would be proud.

When I bought my Duster it said "Sticky Business" on the side...I was going to remove it until a friend said it sounded like a bad porn movie. It stuck..

Mine the early 70'S was Primed.

I now call it "King Turd"
