I hear ya. I payed $367 for 2 belts from Procharger but that includes next day air shipping. I'm sure one belt from Jones may cost that much but I'm sure it will be worth it.

I don't remember on your build, but do you have the blower braced? I didn't on my car and it went thru two belts before I noticed that it was pulling the bolt out of the head. The one that holds the blower bracket to the head. I made some bracing at the track and helicoiled the head and its been fine. I also get my Gates belts from my local CARQUEST, saves a ton of $$$.

You can get "cogged" belts at Carquest? I know you can get ribbed...

That belt is also in stock at Jegs for $72. See if Gates has that same pitch and length in the Polychain GT series, they are stronger.

Ya we made a limiter for it and seems to be working.

Well it was a new best today. The first pass out of the trailer it went 5.13 @ 139. We looked at the video and the 60ft was a decent 1.20 but it look like it hit the wheelie bars hard the set the front tires down slow decided to try a front shock adjustment to slow the rise of the front end and went out and made a 1/4 mile hit. It didn't like the adjustment we made because when I let the trans brake button go it felt like it spun but after looking at the Race Pak data it didn't spin it just pulled the engine down and slowed the 60ft to a sluggish 1.42 and it slowed to a 5.45 in the 1/8 but man when I shifted into high gear man Dart Vader started truckin. The quarter mile ET suffered but it went thru the traps at 173 mph. We went back and put the shocks back where they were and raised the wheelie bars an 1" put 2 more degrees of timing and went back to make another hit and when I started to do the burnout I new something wasn't right and my spotter shut me down, something went away in the trans. All in all a good day but ill get it sorted out and have it ready for the Mopar race at Budds Creek Maryland.

Car is flying. It'll be in the 7's real soon I'm sure. Nice job. What does it weigh? What are the driveline specs?

Nice I've been following this build but for some reason I always thought it was a small tire car still a sweeta$$ car

Where did you get such a tall cowl hood? I am putting a F7 Vortech blower on the KOS Demon 496 and will probably need a taller hood for the Dominator hat.

It is a glasstech hood.
