I'm pretty much locked in with entry fees and what not, but several friends have questions and can't seem to get answers from the track. Maybe slow communication network or something. I'm racing with the UMTR. I have friends that would like to race but don't know what class to get into, if there is a class? One has a '67 small block Dart with automatic trans. The car is not raced that often, maybe once or twice a year at best. The other has a '67 big block Coronet. He'd like to run NSS, but the entry fee is too high for his wallet. His car is also a once or twice a years raced car.
Does anybody have any incite as to what class or classes would fit with these two cars? What about the Hot Rod eliminator no box?
Why do these things have to be so confusing?
Thanks for any help.

Hi Larry Looks to me like hot rod eliminator for $25, each day. Now, if either are 60 or older then they can run the old farts race on Sunday for $20 (senior discount I guess). There I was racing the old farts race on Sun last year and was the youngest guy in the class. Of course was taken out by some real old fart in the 1st round. UMTR $30 street stick, and $60 quick stick for each day.

The 422 All Stars NSS circuit will be there Saturday only. Entry is $100, pays $1500 to win, a great program. www.422allstars.comYou might try Mike Carr's Tri State Stock/SS program, he is running both days. He also allows some NSS, and his rules might be a bit more liberal. However, his entry is $100 on Saturday, $50 on Sunday. Good luck, hope to see you there.

Quote: If I'm understanding the flyer right, Hot Rod Eliminator is a Saturday event only. NSS is two separate events, Saturday entry is $100.00. Sunday's entry is $50.00, both with proportionate pay outs. UMTR is also two separate events. Each days entrance fees are: Quick Stick/Pro stick $50. Street stick is $35. each day. See you all there.
Their page says hot rod eliminator both Sat & Sun
Hot Rod Eliminator (available both Sat & Sun) $25 Entry......... $400 Win $125 RU $75 Semi Per Class. Box/No Bo
Ya, it does,... in the printed schedule, but no mention on the flyer about Sunday??????????

I suspect they had forgotten. It's easier to change the printed schedule than the flyer and I don't believe that it said sat and sun last week. If I recall, last year they had HRE on both days.

PID - Keystone Nostalgia Nationals weekend! 09-22-2014 September 27th & 28th 5th Annual GIS Automotive PID/Keystone Nostalgia Nationals presented by Victory Dodge
We are gearing up for one of the biggest events ever at PRP! Calls and emails have come in from all over this half of the country! It's looking like a great line up, with UMTR/ProStick, Hot Rod Eliminator (2 classes, 2 payouts, Box and No Box), TriState Stock/Super Stock, Southern Slingshots, nostalgia funny cars, AA gassers, Nostalgic Notions and new this year, the 422 All Stars! We can barely wait to see the great cars on the track and in the cruise, and we learned some lessons from last year. To help everyone get in easier, here are the gate arrangements for Saturday and Sunday:
Spectators - enter in the gate directly off of Route 22. Those coming from the east, drive past the light at Stone Jug Road, and about a half mile from there, stay in the left lane and make the left turn onto the jug handle to come back toward the track.
Cruise cars (driven in) - turn onto Stone Jug Road from Route 22, and use the front gate (all asphalt), then take first left after coming through the gate, to the show field.
Trailered cars (race or cruise) - turn onto Stone Jug Road from Route 22, and the use the back gate (the road that goes to the left) for entry to the track.
Camping - YES, camping is allowed overnight! However, there are no hookups, and we ask that everyone be courteous to their neighbors.

Test and tune, open to all cars. Gates open at 6pm, racing from 7pm to midnight. $25 to race, $10 for spectators.
