Do a run of Mopar specific rims and see if they sell. Nobody has ever made good performance wheels for Mopar muscle cars. It should be easy but nobody has ever done it. It is a fairly simple combination of center hole size, offset, caliper clearance and width. Use a nice lightweight design and offer them in performance sizes.
If there was a good bolt on performance rim for Mopar vehicles then perhaps there would be more people looking for suspension parts. I'd suggest hooking up with the guys at Baer to make sure the wheels clear their top of the line brake kits.
that is a really good idea. We carry wheels for the newer muscle.... This is going on the list
If I can find some cheap wheels I can use momentarily for the Dart, I wouldn't mind you guys using my Dart for R&D. Although, I'm using the hubs from Doctor Diff (which AndyF may have designed).

Can't fix something that isn't broken. If they're holding up to 470hp 3 gen Hemis and 500hp Supercharged small blocks in the R&D cars, I dunno how we can design it much better for the average folks putting down 250-350rwhp.

Engineer some more clever, bolt on type stiffening systems so people dont have to weld on there expensive paint jobs.
Noted.

Properly designed replacement LCA's for E bodies (billet?)!
Might as well try to implement a bearing system instead of the rubber bushing... For me the replacement poly is a non sense from an engineering point of view (unable to take any axial load).
We looked at this a couple years ago, probably worth revisiting. Our initial design required a set to salvage for the T-Bar socket and the LBJ bit that is riveted in. Never went beyond mock up since it was looking to be pretty expensive.

B-bodies were built after '72..... What could be done to tighten up and help handling on the '73- up B's on the cheap? (by 'cheap' I mean not so much cost to buy, but, cost of development). Sway bar kits? K frame solid mounts? (a couple of places have that covered) Kits to do away with the isoclamp rear axle mount? Shocks? (especially front shocks).

I've wanted to put a socket on the threaded end for some time to be able to snug it down.
doesn't even need to be a hex. just a simple flat on the very end for an open ended wrench. but sure just weld a nut on.
I'd like an XV like mandrel bent radiator core support

A lightweight steering center link
been asking this for awhile for my bbody - would love to shed the weight off of that beast!

How about sway bar end-links that use spherical bearings or ball joints, could cover a bunch of different cars with a minimum of part numbers across makes.
better front endlinks!!!

Even if you make the simple D-slot rims but in aluminum and in 17X9"/10/11"or 18" X 9/10-/11" sizes 0" offset would be awesome! I wanted the looks of the old nascar rims on my car without the heavy weight, but no one makes these, and heck since this is a wish list, I would DIE for a set of aluminum turbine/vector rims in 17/18" rims with at least a size 9" or bigger, they are my favorite rims!!!!!!
Watts link is also good too

Just a matter of putting up money to get the molds made if you are talking cast wheels...
There are quite a few wheels out there already being made now..and as long as they are 2 piece instead of the more common and cheaper to make (especially overseas) one piece stuff, having what ever backspacing needed is easy.

Dan, I believe the only weakness in my TVS equipped Valiant compared to the best-in-class cars I've run against is the rear suspensions ability to put power down mid-corner. A properly designed 3-link has an advantage over my leaf springs. I think people would pay extra for something that really works well. I also think the wheels are a great idea, Mustang wheels work ok but the center hubs aren't wide enough for the front, and the easily available offsets aren't perfect for an A-body...
I'd love to do the 3 link and will put it on my list. # links are not as simple as everyone likes to think and aren't plug and play. There is a big difference in some thing that "works" and something that really "WORKS". The amount of tuning and knowledge needed to properly set up one of these rear ends is beyond the capabilities of most laymen. We worked for a week with the Pozzi's on drafting a users guide for the Camaro 3 link system and the complexity level got our of hand really quickly. Version 3 of the rear end has got a lot more of the guessing taken out of it, but we are not recommending that system for open purchase and may only sell it to preferred installers.
