Yeah.. I found a 77 Power wagon late last year that was complete. Shift linkage, kickdown parts, cooler lines and the steering column. I installed the column a few months back. I'm heading out there to resume cleaning and assembly !

I finished up yesterday. Things went well. That 203 transfer case sure is a heavy and awkward unit. I had trouble getting it placed right on the transmission jack.
I had to modify some 318/360 kickdown linkage parts to complete it.
No leaks and the trans feels pretty good. I had the rebuilder install a Trans-Go TF-2 shift kit in it. It upshifts into 2nd on time but I can't get it to upshift into 3rd until around 50 mph. Throttle input makes no difference. I suppose that this is a side effect of the shift kit?
The big 12" converter is a real low stall which is a great match for the truck. It is a stock 75 440 with 915 heads so the compression ratio is probably around 8.8 to 9.0 to 1.

Now I'm going to clean the manual trans parts and list them for sale.
