I was just trying to see whats out there. My current combo runs ok for what it is.I have to make a call on a torque converter and just deciding to change the motor or leave it as is and work with it.I have flowed my heads and they were 268 cfm @ 600 lift.I ported these and they seem (for a home job) they work ok.My combo is a 410 10.5 to 1 (180psi)with a flat tappet solid cam.My car is 3150# w/driver.I have been 123.77 mph with this set up.My best et is 10.95 w/1.53 60 ft.How fast can a car go if it runs 122-123 mph in the quarter? This is pump gas w/mufflers.

Yep, at that weight it's very possible to knock a tenth out of that 60 foot. I went 1.44 with what I had, with about a point more compression but good bit more weight. My eddies went 274@ 600 stage two job Hensley did,.... Picking up 60 foot will really help the whole time slip

When my Barracuda was on pump gas it ran 10.79 @ 123 with a 1.49-1.47 60' time. This is with a 410, 10.8:1 comp, pump gas, small street roller, through the mufflers, 3250 lbs. You could make nice gains if you can pick up the 60' times about 5 hundredths. I would go to a TNT and try different pump cams and squirters on the carb to get the 60' times down.
For what its worth, my ported eddy's flow 293 @ .600...but my cam is only .550 ish lift. I switched to e85 and the car picked up a CHUNK of ET. Now its in the mid 10's, and should be in the 10.4x's this fall.
67 Barracuda street car, 408, e85, 1.38 60', 6.44 @105.9 in the 1/8 mile, 10.19 @130.5 in the 1/4...so far....

I believe that is because w2 headers had 2 different bolt patterns if I remember correctly if you hold up a standard exhaust gasket the ports don't line up. but its been a while since I was playing with w2s

My ported Eddys flowed just shy of 300 @ .600 on one bench and just over on another.
My best ET is 11.36 @ 118 in a 3400 lb tuck at 7600' DA.
2001 Dodge Dakota 408 All Motor 11.27 @ 117.83 mph 2017 NM Mopar Challenge Series Champion.

I believe you are right It will work ok on a bracket car with cheap gaskets and red high temp rtv I wouldnt do it on a street car.

Stock header bolt location yes...But far from a stock exhaust port. J,X or eddie, and pro comp is a stock exhaust port.I wish i could post pictures.
I'm agreeing with you. If he has to retain stock exh. Flange I would not use the Indy heads I don't know which would be best. I've seen several cars run great with the eddies

Who makes those gaskets with the dual bolt pattern? That set looks like they will work for me. I have econo W2's on my 408 in my d100. So no one makes a W2 header for that combo and I have to use standard headers. Always have trouble with them leaking.
