Quality one ?? Are that longer then a reg A block ?? The r block I'm looking at is a tall deck 48 degree with std cam bearings




They use the same thing

Sorry don't know all the ins and outs of r blocks most post are r3s and all short deck mills

I got the 360-1 RP heads done by Ryan J at SDSS, said they flow in the 365+ range, also have T&D 1.7 shaft rockers and going to manton pushrods, either 3/8" or 11/32" if I can't fit the 3/8" pushrods.
Oh yeah and all on stock magnum block too.

I don't want to crack a stock block in half ! So I I want to have a rock hard bottom end

Valve train stability and moves the push rods out of the intake port
that's how very good W8-9 heads flow 400 cfm

The benefits of the 48 are in the geometry and pushrod clearance.
The benefits of the 59 are in the use of over the counter cams etc.
With that if it is an all out race motor that you don't mind spending a lot more for a custom ground cam on a core that can be hard to find go with the 48 and open up your ports to because you will have a little more room in the pushrod area as well.

What arp studs are used in the out side of the caps does anybody have the length can't find a kit

The ones I have for a block with Nodular caps are 3" long, and the ones with billet caps are 2 1/2" long
