GOOD! I'm glad my smiley is appreciated in here!

the OEM cams in Magnum engines dont have the boss for the fuel pump (its electric in the tank) its shorter, so if youre gonna use a Magnum engine in the older truck with a mechanical pump, you need to change the front cover/belt system to the LA-style. I know theres a company that makes a conversion kit to use the serpentine belt on the LA engines-maybe its Schumacher? And if y'all knew that already, ignore me, everyone else does

and BTW-in case y'all arent familiar with my Lightning Slayer '96 Ram in my sig/smiley, I built this 408 Magnum (487 HP at the crank) for it last year:

68 Valiant 408
69 Charger 318
69 Cougar 351W
70 Torino GT 351C
71 Country Squire 351W
71 Road Runner 440+6
71 Satellite sedan 318
73 Duster 318
73 Challenger 383
77 Grand Prix 455
83 Malibu 9C1 383
84 Delta 88 403
87 Grand National
96 Ram 360
09 Crown Vic
10 Challenger R/T M6
15 Challenger Hellcat M6

Well, i'm off with the wife to PA to get the new/used magnum motor for the ram. We'll be back on sat night (i have some other things to do while down there), then it will be time, and get that puppy in there. I think this is going to be much better than the old motor. stay tuned for more details

Speakin of gettin carried away, the guy at the oil change place didn't this afternoon.
They checked the trans lube all right, but didnt put the fill plug back in.
I left Amarillo for Tulsa at 4, got about a hundred miles....trans sounded like it was a garbage disposal with a handfull of shrapnel in it. Oil Change place paid for tow bill, and will for a rebuild, Truck at trans shop delivered by flatbed. In Amarillo.
Good thing I was a hundred miles away talkin to dude at oil change place!
Sounded like somebody is in BIG trouble there. They found the plug in the pit.
Guess thats one way to get the 'ol 833 od gone thru.
arrrrgh!

Ah man, i leave for a couple of days and all heck breaks loose with you guys.

Im back with the new/used 360 bullet for the ram----anyone know how to wire one of these late model alternators in? other than that, it should all just drop in, but thats for another weekend---7+ hours driving each way is just to much for my back.

I got a stupid question. What size is everyones wiper blades? I had to replace my blades this weekend, and the application guide listed 18" blades for both sides. They fit fine on the drivers side, But I had to use 14" blades on the passenger side so it wouldn't drag across the moulding at the top of the windshield. I'm thinking someone may have changed the right side wiper arm sometime in the past. How long should that arm be?

Thanks pokey. I'm just thinking that the right side arm has been replaced with something else at sometime. It is black while the left side arm is chrome. It's not a big issue. The wipers work fine and all, it just doesn't seem right, ya know.
