I doubt it, looked like it hooked to me. get a close up video of the right rear tire at launch.

Hmmmm........ I will try. Getting good video has been a problem.
I guess I was looking for the 60 ft time to be lower, given the ET and MPH ? So I guess it is making the ET we have, from the MPH, and not so much the 60 ft time? It doesn't match the estimating programs, very well.

To get a better 60ft I think you need a lower gear and or more stall.
My D50 weights the same as yours with a pump gas small block and my best 60 has been a 1.33. It is 1.34 most of the time. Mine is stock leaf springs and home made caltrak bars, 4.56 gears , 5400 8 in.PTC convertor and 315/60 M/T Drag Radials.

1.33 60 ft,6.21 at 110.59 in the 1/8, pump gas small block,2950lbs,drag radials,mufflers and driven to track ...

I had PTC build the converter for the car. They had all the specs. I guess either they set it up for 1/4 mile, or the fact that I said street/ strip changed the plan. I thought it was a 4500 converter until I called them last week for a recommendation on launch RPM. When he looked at my order he said 3500-4000. I agree it could use more gear probably higher stall, but the engine is "mild" and probably making good torque at 4,000!?!?
Does your D50 have a trans brake? Do you spray it at launch?

I bet you put a 5600 8" converter in that thing and pick up at least a .10

I am foot braking it and it is NA. I am thinking of spraying it in the near future.

That would be nice! Are you taking into consideration it is a 727 trans and not a Power Glide?
I just thought of something. When I ordered the converter I thought the car was going to be a lot lighter. I scewed the program!

I know that this is probably true, but I am not willing to put the time and money into a converter swap right now. I have some carb and intake combos I want to experiment with, to try and extract more power.
Changing the converter means laying on the floor. Changing the carbs and intake I can do standing!
I don't do the floor work so well these days.
