I was wondering;
Did Larry Woo actually sell his car, why and to whom?
Who does the engines for Mark Howes Dart and who painted it?
What is the status of the Buddy Martin / Monte Bailey Barracuda project?
Whatever happen to the "Mystical Cuda"?

larry sold his car to brian hard. he is something big at penske. I talked to brian the other day, he ordered a new bullet from me. Larry is going to race one of those fords I think cause he asked me if I would build him an engine.

armstrong does howes motors, they buy alot of stuff from me, then they machine their own blocks and put them together.

the martin car is still at the chassis shop last I heard.

I was wondering about the mystical cuda the other day.

I'm not sure but I think two of the three Barracudas the Smiths had where sold, one is still on Racingjunk for sale.
Food for thought; There are 5 original '68 Hemi cars in the northeast not being raced. Can anyone name them?

Wow! Remember, if you are paying taxes, your makin' money. Now to go through 9 mil with A cars, I should have stuck with Seduko. It is a sad story for the family and employees.

Bischoff has Bales engine. Everything I have seen come out of his shop is a lot faster than when it went in. We'll see how he does with an NHRA legal engine.

Yep. IIRC, his son was building one too?

Wow...Harsh to say the least...Eddie Smith was always decent to me...I remember them coming to Trails almost every Sunday to run Super 32 with us back in the late 70's...After the way of life they are used to Prison will be a shock

They aren't going to real Prison, nonviolent federal crime. I knew a guy that went to Federal Prison for interstate transportation of a stolen vehicle. He got his ground school done for his pilot licence done while he was there and took some computer classes. There were conjugal visits with his wife. Where he was there wasn't even any fences, you sign a contract when you got there stating you would not leave the boundaries of the prison. I know it would be hard to be away from your family but in my opinion the boys in the armed services have it a lot harder than these folks. They will probably have it better than a good portion of the people reading this.

Getting old just means you were smarter than some and luckier than others.
