Well I'm officially a member of the /6 truck club as of today, picked up this "thing" today...

It's a '87 100 Custom with an auto, picked it up to be my new daily driver, needs some TLC (carb rebuild and some cosmetic work) but should be fun to play with.

BTW, Old Goat, where did you get the decal thats in your avatar?

Social Security, let's see....will be about 19 or so years before I can get that...as for the walker, sure, as long as it is MOPAR powered!!!
Geez, I have to admit, it seems like I am fallin apart...Doc is gonna tell me tomorrow what they want to do.
I put a heater core in my 83, with the engine out,was easy. I feel for ya with that big block in there....

That's exactly why I waited till I pulled the engine....It started leaking during the summer.
I found a hose at NAPA that worked great for a bypass, Looked like a factory piece....almost. LOL
And the truck smiley hasn't magically appeared...YET

I added another one to the collection....I know it is worthless without pics, haven't taken any yet.
I bought an 89 4wd 3/4 ton Longbed 318 with cracked heads and no transfer case, But it does have a/c tilt, cruise, power windows and locks,am/fm cassette, sliding back glass!!!
The truck is very straight, and rust free, havent made my mind up whether to use it for the cab and front clip on my 83 big block truck,as it would be easier to swap cabs than to add all the creature features.
The 83 cab really could use a roof panel, and has been painted at a few times...
Who knows what I will do, could recoup the purchase price by sellin the trans or front axle alone....and build a nice trailer....
Pics next weekend, when I go to pick it up,it is out of town.
Bill
