Yep,it is obvious they are doin the least!! No fires near here today that I know of... Mebbe they think we dont have "real MOPARS" or sumpin....man are they ever wrong. I seem to recall stompin an E body in the quarter that was TRAILERED in, and I drove mine home.....with tools and such in the back. No need for a trailer!

hi everyone i'm new here and your post on the 81 to 90 trucks is what made me want to join.i have to agree on the aftermarket for these trucks is terrible.every catalog i look at starts at 94 and forget about looking for someone that caters to these years specificially.anyway it's nice to see talk about them i will post a pic. of mine as soon as i figure out how to.

I wasn't sayin' they aren't "real", just that it seems that some of the car guys don't have any love for the trucks...But that's ok, we like em more than plenty!!

Well, I have been hard at it on mine! I now have power steering, power brakes, and tilt column!!! Also I installed a electric cooling fan as a helper unit for those warm summer days. It is like driving a different truck, well worth the effort!! I had all kinds of trouble with pulley alignment on the steering pump, but got it all worked out. Mind you Fri evening it had manual steering, non- power brakes and non tilt column. The next step is a super six intake and carb, 2 1/4 outlet exaust manifold. It already has a 2 1/4 system, but the current manifold has a 2 in outlet. The o'l six needs all the help it can get!!

hi again,i finally made it back.info on my trk.is: 86 RAM150 ROYAL SE, 360 4v 727 nonlock up,has american racing outlaw 1 wheels 15x8 on frt. 15x10 on rear, kelly charger tires 245/60/15 on frt.,295/50/15 on rear,3 in. lowering shaclkes on rear, whiteface overlays on gauges, other brand seat, borgenson steering shaft,it's a daily driver of about 300 to 400 miles a week and the engine and drivetrain still factory and while it's driven daily the only upgrades to that will be to try to improve gas mileage. i plan on rebuilding a 904lk.up that i have to see if it will help out.it gets 15 to16 mpg right now which i don't consider bad for what it is just want to see if i can make it better.well that's about all i can think of for now p. s. how do post pics.?

Ok, to answer Webster and Pokey, Yes I have moved all but a lil bit of stuff that is still in storage till warmer weather, and 3 vehicles, but am still working in Amarillo...The 2 small side jobs I started a month ago have both turned into full throttle large remodels, playin general contractor to get em done, hope to be done mid to late Feb before she disowns me...and as for the fan, I am not running the clutch fan right now, but when it warms up I may have to...it sure made a big difference in seat of the pants power readings with just the electric one in use!!! The power steerin and brakes make it like drivin a different truck!! Bill ....and STILL no smiley under a DODGE TRUCK!!!

If your tranny runs on the hot side, try this. https://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/stores/s...ategoryId=13511 . PN 771-12311 My friend put one on and it went from ~210-220 straight down to 170-180. He put a toggle switch in for the fan and a B&M Trans temp guage. Yes, it is on the spendy side, but so is a transmission rebuild! Hope it helps, Bill

I used a Hayden 16 inch and the thermostatic control unit...made my own mounts tho, I just dont like the idea of pokin stuff thru the fins of a radiator...basically 2 pcs of 1 by 3/16 strap mounted to the top and bottom rails of the radiator. (it is a cross flow walker unit)
And still no Truck smiley
