I agree but i think it is easier with the new hemi having cam and crank sensors.

I'v been told the dropbase with the bubble top lid helps turn the air and make it enter the carb properly. i'v talked with the guys at R2C, they make some nice filters and cleaners for circle track. last time I spoke with them they said they had a dominator air clear in the works and should be available buy this spring. they also mention the filter lids as being the worst thing for proper flow.

A nice radiused lid will work good... I have 1 buddy
that the filter lid works for... BUT he stacks 2 5"
elements on each other so it has plenty of space to
turn the air before the lid has any effect.. but he
is the only guy that I know that it works for

So then guys, what is the best semi-low profile foreward facing scoop for our cars that will be legal on the street................

power adder such as turbo would be easier with the new hemi than a BB. plus I believe you can get away with a stock block is the reason for my switch. plus its just something different.
