It rains you lose your money to the Joshs fund a event charity.

If the MODS did their job I would not be hitting the notify MOD button. LOL

He still has to pay the track regardless.... Do you get your money back from any other races you attend if it rains??

YES. Rain-checks are issued.
With that said there are still costs to a race like Josh or others put on. If food, entertainment, refreshments, or track rentals are involved those costs should be deducted and cash refunds given on the way out the gate.

Sure do... thats the thing here... the promoter is
taking a risk and if it rains out the whole weekend
he will loose his a$$... but that is a issue that the
promoter has to deal with.. if its good weather and
the event goes off with no issues he MAKES MONEY

At one of our local tracks, if eliminations begin then it rains, you get a rain check for the car. You have to buy a spectator pass to get back in. Not every place has the same policies.
Josh gave a discount to the people that were rained out of one days events. I thought that was more than fair????
I have a limited race budget like several other people. I am also struggling to get enough done so I can travel several hundred miles to Josh's event.
Everyone has a right to an opinion, but several people cry foul before they even know any facts.
I'll be supporting Monster Mopar.

I think josh has been fair with the discount for racers that where at Indy last yr.
If anyone is on the fence with showing up, I would give it a shot.
we have been to the last two shows at Indy and had a great time rain and all
Norwalk conflicts with another race or we would have been there too.
