Yes it can be done. My 1973 Charger is all LED except for the license plate/dome lamp and the fender turn signals. It does take some research and work to get it right but it does have a tremendous payoff in terms of reduced current draw and brighter light. It is too much to put here but you can start reading on the superbrightleds website. If you ask some specific questions, I can tell you what used.

I have LED's in the instrument cluster of my Daytona. I will change them out. I got the soft white, I need to get the more natural brighter white. I am trying to cut down on the heat generated with typical filament bulbs..

Kind of hit and miss unfortunately. Large rear taillight assemblies are a problem, because LED's are not good at lighting large areas (while at the same time they are very intense to look at directly... for this reason I'd never consider them for headlights or fog lights). They work great on the rear of my '68 B'cuda with its small tail lights. But guys have had difficulty with large tail lights, '69 Charger for example. I could not get LED front turn signals to work properly in the 68 cuda, maybe because of the fendertop signals in that circuit??? Gave up and never tracked that down. LED's are almost all Chinese made, and there are more low quality ones for sale than good. If the price sounds too good to be true, (or the bulb design is too complex), they probably will have a short service life. BTW, great work on that '67, looking great front and rear!

Remember, lots of LEDs are polar. Meaning they only work when power flows through them in the correct direction. If you cross the pos and neg, they won't work If that happens to you, try reversing polarity before giving up
