What great timing!

So I just tried using some AGT Tailight 1157 bulbs in my 1970 Barracuda and while the blinkers work great and look nice (a little quick due to the way the power runs through the LED circuits) the running lights would not light at ALL. I checked the bulbs with a 12V AC adapter and they light so I tried them in my Jeep Wrangler and I am not sure they align up with Mopar connectors in the housing. OR, you have to run the engine to power them. In either case, I will likely end up giving them away since I want the rear running lights to work whether the engine is running or not.

I also tried some sweet smaller LEDs for the dash and those things are brighter than the original bulbs and don't put off any heat. My side-marker, reverse and dome bulbs should be in this week and I can let you know how they turn out.

I am not sure you asked about dash lights but here is a photo of the one that fit and they are about 40-60% brighter than the standard bulbs

Yes it can be done. My 1973 Charger is all LED except for the license plate/dome lamp and the fender turn signals.

It does take some research and work to get it right but it does have a tremendous payoff in terms of reduced current draw and brighter light.

It is too much to put here but you can start reading on the superbrightleds website. If you ask some specific questions, I can tell you what used.

I have LED's in the instrument cluster of my Daytona. I will change them out. I got the soft white, I need to get the more natural brighter white. I am trying to cut down on the heat generated with typical filament bulbs..

I used 3 3/4" trailer lights for rear lighting in my GM and B300. Took the lamps apart and ended up with a disc about 1/2 - 3/4" thick. Gutted an old bulb, soldered the wire to the base to make it a plug in. I think there is 17 LEDs, and the brake lights are BRIGHT. Well worth the effort.

You need low voltage flashers if you're going to run both front and rear LED turn signals. I got mine from Hotronics.

That looks great! I'm going to have to do the same thing for my Dart. There is a kit available for 69 Darts but not for 68s.

Kind of hit and miss unfortunately. Large rear taillight assemblies are a problem, because LED's are not good at lighting large areas (while at the same time they are very intense to look at directly... for this reason I'd never consider them for headlights or fog lights). They work great on the rear of my '68 B'cuda with its small tail lights. But guys have had difficulty with large tail lights, '69 Charger for example. I could not get LED front turn signals to work properly in the 68 cuda, maybe because of the fendertop signals in that circuit??? Gave up and never tracked that down. LED's are almost all Chinese made, and there are more low quality ones for sale than good. If the price sounds too good to be true, (or the bulb design is too complex), they probably will have a short service life.

BTW, great work on that '67, looking great front and rear!

Remember, lots of LEDs are polar. Meaning they only work when power flows through them in the correct direction. If you cross the pos and neg, they won't work If that happens to you, try reversing polarity before giving up

So I got the LED 1157 replacement bulbs to work. It seems that you have to replace both rears at the same time. Here is a closeup of the running lights. As you can see they are pretty bright. I really like them and am replacing the front ones right now. Got them on Amazon: AGT 1157 Pair LED SMD 18 LED

Why aren't they flashing at the same time?

the LED's light up, and turn off almost instantly. the incandescent are slower to react, taking time to illuminate, then fade.

Since LEDs go completely out easier, the blinking is more dramatic and hopefully more apparent to other drivers. Here are the LED 1157 in the Cuda.
