'12 R/T manual here. Its my daily driver, and I have 32k on it already. It gets 22-24 mpg with normal driving, around 28 when I take road trips. Made several 500+mile trips with it last summer, and it is absolutely the nicest driving car I have ever had. Two kids.....I can fit 4 in it no problem, 5 if I move the driver's seat up......I'm 6'2".....

Ours is a '12 R/T Classic, Header Orange, 6-speed, Super Track Pack, sunroof, & leather interior. It's a neat car & it has a little over 6,000 miles on it now. Sunny day driver only & it's a neat car, but given the choice, I'd rather drive a 1970 R/T for fun rides.

I wish that there were better colors for 2014. I'm looking to buy by years end and I hope the 2015s have more choices than black, silver, white and orange.
The B-5 blue is a great color. Too bad it was limited. Why is that? The Green With Envy is okay but I'd prefer a slightly darker version similar to Snakeskin green.

Thanks for all the replies! And some great looking rides you guys have! What does the STP package consist of?? Also what is the deal with disconnecting/disabling the MDS? Why? Keep the suggestions coming, Thanks!

Why would you disconnect the MDS? Some people who are not well informed believe it is better. It is not. It works as advertised. It increases fuel mileage, and does it seamlessly. I can not tell in my 09 when I go from ECO mode to all 8. Only the sound changes.

I don't know if you're saying you're for or against MDS, but this is why people are against..... http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread...Charger-and-300

I think you can disable MDS with a Predator, not sure. Some folks call these bloated, overweight, but when you stand on them hang on! It's quite a ride. I've beaten more than my share of "better" cars, all comes down to the driver. It's not really about racing, the manner and poise means more to me. I've had way more waveoffs than street races. Trust, I choose my street races wisely, no traffic and a long empty stretch. Fly down and I'll pick you up, you can drive the heck out of mine.

'13 SRT8 stick car here and it's my daily driver with the exception of the worst weather. It is a surprisingly good all-around vehicle. Spacious, comfortable, room for the kids in back and it is plenty fast.

Highway mileage is almost identical to the 5.7 R/T and if you keep your foot out of it, 27-28MPG (US) is very achievable. 18-19 in town.

It does have a good-sized blind spot to the right rear and a backup camera would be useful, but for comfort, performance and handling it is AOK.

The 5.7 R/T Classic is IMHO one of the best overall packages and what I had originally ordered. If you go that route, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

If you're going new - it may be worth waiting for the 2015 models as they are supposed to have significant improvements.

I think they are cool! Getting a dealership that is willing to deal is another story... I have called three or four big dealerships and they won't even give a quote! A local small dealer some thirty miles from me was the only one willing to talk. So if we do something they will get our business.

One of the first things I did is lower it 1.6" with a MP stage 2 kit, really helped out the handling, clearance, not so much. Fast is an understatement!

For the love of god, stop posting that picture!!
save this one to your computer.

What is wrong with this picture? I love how this car looks & sits. I will be getting a B5 blue newer style Challenger someday & will do the same stripe & everything. Personally my favorite new style Challenger on this board.

Nothing. That is the corrected (cropped) picture.

In the original pic you can see Daty's thumb covering the upper left quarter of the image.
