Man that gave me a sick feeling when I saw the pics You say the fire dept put it out, were they on hand where you were, or did you have to wait for them? As bad as it looks it still seems like they were there pretty quick. Nice job by them. Doesn't take fire long to eat a car. Glad you're ok and not giving up.

Man that sucks....Hopefully it is as you say and not as bad as it looks. Keep your chin up and be thankful it was not worse and no one got hurt..

Wow so sorry, I always said, I don't get attached to my race parts because they can be gone in just a few seconds. Remember me telling you about my fire and how it burned everything off the back of my dragster?? Now you know what I meant. I have a good Taylor blanklet for your blower if your interested, I'll sell cheap. So sorry again. Screw blowers are non forgiving, but you know that now. I bet your'll have some burnt pistons and maybe a torched head or block, but they can be welded up. Get to work and put it back together!!!

You'd be surprised at the number of N.E. Ohio MoParts people that talk up and admire your car while following your build here. As a career firefighter/paramedic I'm with Sunroofgtx and the rest of your MoParts brethren in giving thanks for no injuries. You don't want to see or be a severe burn victim. I know that this incident sucks beyond my comprehension but I always try to realize that any misfortune could be worse. Many years ago we got a call for "car fire". Turned out to be a vintage 'Vette into which owner had invested years of time, money and marital discord. On our arrival car was IN the fully involved garage. Plastic cars burn hot & rapidly so the best we could do was save the house and the neighbors house. Guy lost car, garage, parts, tools and I'm certain part of his soul. In spite of that he knew that he was still better off than the many more unlucky people that didn't get to see the sun come up the next day to try and start over. Hang in there, count your blessings and by all means "get back on the horse"! Inquiring minds are on the edge of their seats waiting for the next chapter. Good Luck

You're ok, that's all that really matters. Does it suck very badly that this happened? Yep, but it's just a car and can be replaced. You can't! Looks a little messy externally, but not the end of the world. We'll have to wait until you tear it down to hear what's shakin' on the inside after lifting the blower. Best of luck to you and hang in there as hopefully that was the last of your bad luck

It's just another setback the way it has been all along. Some things may change but I will wait to decide what to do.I have a few thoughts going through my head, or just stupid not sure yet.

Like you are saying, think about for a little while.
Anytime we would blow the burst panels we had internal damage also, usally burnt pistons at a minimun. But I was turning the engine higher than you I'm sure. Good luck with it and have fun.

Wow, I am totally shocked by those pictures. I was expecting to see burn out pics or something. I'm so sorry about the car, but I'm glad you are OK.
