I have been checking out the 572 HEMI for my Road Runner. Seems like a good deal and its a Hemi.

Go with BEST machine in Michigan and don't do things with a Hemi that will cost you more to do it again. In other words, put the correct amount aside to make a Hemi success story not create hemorrhoids.

Cant say enough good stuff about pete and chuck. You get what you pay for. Always cheaper to do it right the first time.

If you are already set up for a wedge, take your money to one of the builders mentioned in these posts and you will have a sturdy wedge with a mega block that will outlive and outperform any hemi of similar size and configuration.

How do you figure? I good hemi builder can make at least if not more hp with a hemi than a wedge of the same cubic inch. They are just as reliable. I hemi is more expensive to build. The valve train is the reason.
You are not going to get a top of the line 572 hemi for $17,000.
