It's a Mopar Track Day Thursday April 3rd, at Willow Springs Raceway. Spring Fling Mopar show at Woodley Park, April 5-6, Sat-Sun, Van Nuys California.

This event is the complete opposite of sitting beside your car at a car show. This place is alive with cars blasting down the front straight, cams loping as the cars come off track and cruise through the pits. If your up for going on track then you might see and hear what its like for a NASCAR Daytona to go flying by you!

The Day starts off with breakfast in the track diner, followed by the Driver's Meeting. Then it's upstairs for Performance Road Race Basics. Then out on track to get signed off by an instructor for a full day of 2.5 miles on "The fastest track in the West".

Schedule:
7:00 am Drivers meeting
8:00 am Course open to the first group
8:00 am New Driver instruction class and ride along instruction
12:00 pm Free cruise laps for spectators
5:00 pm Track Closed
6:30 pm Dinner

Awe come on brad, come out.
My buddy and I are heading out on the 2nd of April, I love it.
Can't wait, Thursday is a blast, Friday is filled with great sights that ends at the picture vehicle warehouse.
Saturdays swap meet and show has always been a great time,
Unfortunately the parts I want are so heavy to bring in my bag home.
Then there is a the great sights around LA like Bobs in Taluca Lake.

If we have a helmet to bring, is there a spec it has to meet?

sounds like fun, is Rich Christensen going to be there crashing his motorcycle?

Leaving Lathrop, CA early AM Thursday. Mapquest says 4.5 hours to the track so be there about noon or so. Probably will hang out and watch.

On the linked site, it says we need to wear a long sleeved shirt, does it have to be anything special?

Bob Torozzi was team Manager of the 1970 AAR Gurney Trans Am effort, designer/engineer/creator of the 68 Hemi Super Stock cars and 69 AMX Super Stocks, late 60's Chrysler Nascar engineer, design on the Keith Black Aluminum Block, UOP Shadow Can-Am engineer, design on Brad Anderson Hemi head, etc etc

The Spring Fling Speed Festival Group will be meeting after the days festivities at Golden Cantina Restaurant around 5:00-6:00pm. Special guest for the day and for dinner, is Bob Torozzi.
