Don't mean to sidetrack the original post, but does anyone know why a dana equipped car would not have gotten a rear bar? jess

Likely because the spring rates/configuration were different from side to side (with the extra leafs on the right)

71-2 b-body cars with danas did get rear swaybars, and the bars were specific to dana, it differed from the 8-3/4 bar i think the 440 and hemi e-bodies were considered drag cars and the 340/383 more of a handling car but from what we can tell from all of the input, it appears very late build june of 70 and later cars had them, probably developed for the aar and t/a, but then added to other cars afterwards?? thank you for all of the input

My 71 340 Cuda automatic car has one,but both of my Challenger convertibles do not have them. One is a 70 383 automatic non R/T,the other is a 71 318 automatic.

My AAR of course has both, I have a build sheet from another AAR and it has a 1 in the S3 section but nothing in the S4 section.
