What is the best brake kit available for a e body that will fit under 15" wheels? I was looking at the wildwood dynalite pro series kits. Are these any good or are the viper kits better? Any others that I'm missing? Thanks

My personal opinion would be that the wilwood dynalite pro kits are mostly a drag race kit. They don't appear that heavy duty to me. They are all about being light weight.
With 15" wheels, a good place to start is a stock style 11.75" setup. DoctorDiff has a full kit. He also has a viper kit for 11.75" rotors with drum knuckles, but you have to find the calipers.
For 14" or smaller wheels, I don't know that there are any really good choices.

How do the viper kits compare to the other wildwood kits available?

I think they'd work for a while, but I really don't believe that they are an install it and forget about it item. Its pretty much a race part. Lots of them don't have any dust boots, so crap can get in the caliper and seize it.
If you want OEM reliability, you'll want to use OEM rotors/calipers from something. I would have no issues using a stock setup (I have the 11.75 stock myself), or any of the viper or brembo style kits made by Dr Diff and others. The wilwood stuff is made mostly to drop weight, IMO

Your saying for mostly drag cars only for the wildwood kits. Is there less stopping power too? Just trying to find out as much as I can between each of the kits.

Ive been waffling back and forth on this and starting to slightly lean towards the 11.75 OE setup. In my case Its already been on the car for over 10 years so id go for better replacement rotors and some performance pads. Most will agree if you wont see a racetrack then OE is more than enough....alot of guys here on moparts run them on the track too.
the factory stuff is pretty darn good....unless your going to put hard track time on it, the oem stuff is fine. you can always upgrade later

Consider... for pylon autocrossing, you want to strive to always be reducing weight, and you're not going to be on the brakes so much for lengthy periods of time, so, then, the Wilwood disc/caliper setup is probably the best choice due to it being the lightest overall setup.
For street/hwy/road course events, I would lean towards a more beefier setup, Cordoba rotors at least, or else the thicker C-body rotors (or light truck rotors?), along with, at least the stock larger Cordoba calipers, but consider the aluminum Wilwood choices as well as the Viper/Brembo and others which offer larger pad area and/or more pistons.
As always, if you're competing in any sanctioned "club" events, read their "rules" for the class that you'd be competing in, so you can make a best choice of the brakes, in other words, spending your money wisely.

What???? I ran those calipers for 10 years on my pos AAR-street car that was built to survive hot laps. No problems ever!!!! Start heating and cooling the stock stuff from track days and you will be replacing calipers every few years. Then again you would have to go to the track and run laps to learn this...
However those "Race" calipers will not fit under rallye wheels.

Do any of these kits fit under stock 15" magnum 500's? 11.75, viper, or wildwood kits?

So if I want to swap to the 11.75 rotors, do the rotors simply swap out with my stock rotors now? Are there any extra parts needed and do they make the 11.75's in a drilled and slotted version?

I do not use or would run drilled rotors unless the holes were cast into the discs itself. I just run slotted. The reason being is that drilled rotors will crack faster on the track. They usually crack in between the holes when the disc is super red hot from braking and then cooling down in the pits between sessions
Can you tell me where to get the "Slotted only" 11.75 Rotors? All I can seem to find is the Plain parts store type, and the Drilled & Slotted type..
I got mine from here.... http://www.r1concepts.com/c-131-brake-rotors.aspx#Ge47|
