On the slotted rotors... once the (modern) pads are heat cycled a few times and stop "gassing" I'm not sure how much the slots (or holes) help. For an 11.75 setup, I would personally run the better grade parts store rotors and good pads and skip the slots or holes. Spend your money on something else.

I agree and consider rotors a wear tear replacement item. Run them hard enough on the track and all iron rotors will crack regardless of holes, slotted/unslotted or not. Plain blank iron rotors actually have the most material on them to help dissipate heat. Just get the most cost effective ones for your performance needs and replace as necessary
