KARLN OP super stock Joined: May 2005 Posts: 907 Mississauga, Canada	I've got a 1970 340 with Eddy heads. The alternator bracket wasn't original so I ordered the correct bracket, bolt and two spacers. When I tried to install it, the back of the alternator touches the head. Is this common when using Eddy heads with a stock alternator and bracketry? thanks, Karl B5 Challenger T/A

It allows a little more clearance & will usually fit, if that doesn't give you enough clearance there are kits to mount the Nippondenso Alternator... http://chucker54.stores.yahoo.net/delialbrpk.html

69Cuda340S master Joined: Aug 2004 Posts: 3,333 MARYLAND	I have the same issue using my stock '69 brackets: https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...c=1#Post4839115 The stock brackets line the alternator up perfectly with the water pump pulley but the back of the alternator hits the head.
