Cracked the trans pan, tweaked the front upper shock mount. I had it right back out the next weekend. I knew it would happen eventually racing no bar classes so I did some extra bracing/bump stops etc to try my best to minimize any damage when it did happen.

One day I will have something cool here.

Yes bent strut arms, bent new oil pan, cracked new trans-pan, my entire steering column broke of brackets and was sitting on my lap, luckly was able to pull it up and streer the car of track, we start hitting launch RPMs harder 4700 and getting chassis to work and man did it.

Damn I wish this car wasn't being sold, I'd love to see what you could do with it all dialed in. Oh well, I've seen your reason for selling and I can't say I blame you. GLWS!!

What did you see? I wasn't going to post pics of my new stuff so I didn't get burned at the stake here.

You didn't have to let the cat out of the bag! I meant I've seen your reason, the reason I saw was you wanted to put money into your business.

If I was sitting better that duster would be mine no questions asked. .
PS you aren't the only one working on a chevystang lol

That too, but I have had some help in both lately so its been going good. (race cars and business). Here are some pics of the new ride. Its a 03 stang, I did all the suspension and 25.2 cage a few years back. Conventional headed 582 with a 118. Was going to do twins but since the rules for outlaw 275 changed to allow conv BB single turbo we decided to go that route. I just need to sell the duster to get this thing going for the spring.

One day I will have something cool here.

no doubt they work, I've went 1.27 60 with 20" front segment and Rancho 9-way shocks on a 315 tire.

Evidently the setup wasn't right, track was apparently overpowered and the video shows the result.

Nice car though...

Drad radials on a track prepped for them is a total diff animal then slicks for sure.I know travel has been discussed on moparts before, but with these type cars less is better.
There's really not much to do if you dont have enough weight in the nose or a Davis traction device, and in Stephen's
defense this happenes to the Best drivers out there. My friend Dean bought 90lbs of ankle weights at the yellow bullet event 2 yrs ago and wrapped them in maskin tape around the front of his frame. This is an easy fix with slicks and as simple as adding more power off the hit,to get a little tire spin.

I had 80 lbs on the nose that pass. That was only like the 4th pass on the car with nitrous so I really had no idea what was about to happen.

I agree cal's don't work.
55.5% nose weight .
foot braking.
20inch front segment.
28x10.5 slicks.
afco DA rear shocks cal's 90/10's on front.
out past the 60ft.block
