Matched belts, didn't know there was such a thing.
When I switched to the Sanden compressor, 1 of the belts I bought was a little loose.
Ordered another and return it, the pair now works perfectly.

I guess there are slight variations even with the manufacturing.

Does anyone make 'matched set' V-belts anymore? I haven't been able to find 'em locally for over 15 yrs.

If your supplier has a fairly large selection it's easy (but time consuming) to match belts by comparing mold marks. I've done it several times.

IMHO, the serpentine conversion is a solution to problem that doesn't exist.
