Met some of the "Outlaws" at the Vernon, Texas car show this year, really nice guys...truth of the matter is that they were drag racers long before this show started and they will still be drag racers long after the show is gone, it's nice to see somebody make some money drag racing...what's the old saying? "how do you make a million dollars drag racing?"...start with 2 million... and it's fun to see NOS and NX competing for TV time...I don't know Monte Smith personally but he seems like a nice guy from what I've read and I've known Mike Wood (owner of NX) for 30 something years, Mike is a madman when it comes to Nitrous, I don't know if there's been an internal combustion engine built yet that he hasn't sprayed

You no i wonder if the show receives it's fare share of ratings, because it had street outlaws on in fast'n loud's slot. And i miss a few repeated episode cause of the time slots
Next week Str. outlaws will be on @ 8 central time(2 hour special) They said the dragweek boys are coming to town. Was that Lutz's 57 in the preview/teaser? How about daddy dave whupping up on mumble nova? Doc may have the biggest/most power, but like Monte says the street is not the track. What are the chances Doc's car gets impounded before this season is over?
The show is much better since they cut out all the belly bumping. Just put up or shutup!
I think Tina deserved the stripper pole comment after she pulled out that sticker. Good show much improved. Don

YES, your eyes were right. That WAS Lutz's 57 and he does race it on the street in the show. You will have to tune in for the results though........LOL!!!!
Monte
"oh you can count on it!"
I think Dave will need more than a week to properly fix the oil control problem he's having. Although it looked like he could've detuned it a LITTLE and still beat shawn. Maybe he can before it REALLY blows up, rods/block etc?

Monte that would provide a very good test of your tuning skills. I noticed Dave was doing very well on the tree/flashlight! I love the way that truck launches. Doc is going to need to take a bunch of torque/timing away from the launch. Can't wait til next week. Don

Dave's problem with the 632 was the motor was pretty beat up and with the filming schedule, they just never had time to fix it RIGHT. They just kept shoving pistons and sleeves in it, because that is all they had time to do.
It is apart right now and I am going to try and help him with the combination to make it a little more nitrous friendly, so maybe he can stop hurting parts.
Monte
tell him most of us Mopar guys love the show. keep up the good work and not be surprised when I bring my SB Arrow up there and kick his butt

Doc's car worked great with the 565..........the 706 has a lot more grunt and the car is not stiff enough in the middle. Going out in a couple weeks to look at his chassis and see where it needs some bars.
They had 2.2 million viewers Monday night. Over 2 million gets credit as a "hit", so that probably means a 20 episode contract and their own night to air in a primetime slot.

Watched a few of them last night. Decent show, as long as you keep in mind it is a TV show with the prerequisite drama associated with such.
... I have been holding my toooo long ...
BETWEEN the DramaNova, The Flim-Flam Truck, pimpDADDYdave, the badlass mOnTeEcArLo ... this is almost like a SOAPopera that some chicks watch during the day ....
Now as far as these cars being a HANDful to drive ... you would be too ...without proper chassis prep ...then add in being overlyHOSED by our resident nOs Xpert !
..... As the World Turns, General Hospital AND Dayz of our Livez ...
