One of the biggest draws of street and grudge racing is EGO. Yes, you want to win at all costs, but mostly you want to "crush" the other guy while doing so. If you win when the other guys knocks the tires off, all you have proven is that he missed the setup........NOT that you can outrun him. So yeah, Tuff beat Dave, but can he say he "drug" him or "gapped" him, or does he KNOW he can beat him....NO.

Grudge and street racing is a different world as far as perceptions of a win go.

As for Street Outlaws and who gets to call out who and what happens if a guy breaks........the producers have the final call. Whatever they think will make the show more entertaining, is what will happen.

Monte

The girl made a call out to the Farm Truck and there was no mention of money. She won and I did not see any money being handed over. All I saw was the just the dumb belt. So she made a call out to Varley and all she bet was that dumb sticker and no mention what Varley was to win. Mabe I missed that. Why no money exchange in her races? I like the show and hope they can ride it out for a few seasons.

If the MODS did their job I would not be hitting the notify MOD button. LOL

Don, I believe the video was around page 585 or so in the Street Outlaws thread on Yellowbullet.

Looked like they were doing some No Prep passes and she got loose past the 1/8 mile mark. She was unhurt, truck not so much.

Thanks big D, it was too nice out today to stroll through 585 pgs. I will look later.
I hate to see that happen to a racer.

Thanks Dennis.
It don't look as bad as I visioned after seeing the teaser on tv.

I know people love their cell phone cameras.....but from my experience, especially with loud noise from the car or low light cond. THEY SUCK

GUESS WHAT DAY IT IS....... anybody know what day it is?
It's NOT camel day, thats for sure

It's street outlaws day/night
It's 6* here in northern IL. So a little race action may cheer me up!

Especially because no innocent bystanders will be injured/killed in those closed street mini racetracks.

Its Monday.!!!!!!!!!!!! I know what Matt and I will be doing tonight. Its GREAT watching a racing type show with your kids (especially when they are 25 years old). This show has gotten soooo much better as time goes on and I have taken a 180 in the way I feel about it. Less BS and more racing. I HATE "one and Done" type shows and their whinny wheeling and dealing. If you think its fast, line the son of a gun up and lets get it on.

Unfortunately I work Second shift so I don't get to see the show unless it is a re-run and happen to catch it in an off hour, but I did watch an episode last week where the young lady brings out the s-10 and it was much improved from the ones I had seen before.

You have to remember one thing,,you are talking to a guy that has to get the instruction book out just to set my watch, and I found out real quick that smart phones are NOT for smart phone challenged people.

I hear ya. I have a simple flip open, old style cell phone that originally belonged to my ex-wives husband, then her for awhile, then my son, and for the last 5 years me. They get the upgrades and I get old faithful. Takes a lickin and keeps on aworkin.
