Jason, There is a better easier way to tell early vintage from later vintage. If you look at the pic you posted of your later manifold you will see it has the revised casting where the manifold ports meet the head (they are more smoothed) This was started in 1969. Allen's pic of his RH manifold has the "step" at the ports where the manifold meets the head. (pic right above yours)
As a side note: all the repro manifolds have the stepped ports since they were modeled after early manifolds. Which is really funny when they cast the 34xxxxx Ebody style part # into it
Allen, Can you post close up pics of the ports?
Which RH manifold do you want close-up pics of? Here are a few of the "12JB" manifolds... anyone willing to help on the date code?
I don't know what to tell you about those dates. But here is a 10-69 manifold with the more usual dating style.

Here is a thread about a 12JB/20JB pair:

Allen, Unfortunately that one close up pic you showed of the flange is so surface rusty I can't say which style it is. Need some better pics
Will do... The ice storm has prevented me from getting out to the shop the manifolds are in, but I expect I can get some more pictures this weekend...

I have a set that came off an early production 1970 Hemi Roadrunner (delivered about December 20, 1969). Here are the casting numbers from those.

Thanks for the contributions guys, we might get this figured out if we get enough data points... On this one, the date code might read
