Is there room behind to slip the head of a bolt w/ a washer? If so, then you could grab with a pair of vice grips & hammer it out possibly.

Pack the hole with grease and get a shaft the same size as the pilot bearing. Put the shaft in the hole and whack it with a hammer

Never tried it with a bearing...

All I can say is that is the only way I have ever done it. Sometimes it has taken a few tries

You're aware that the bearing is pressed into an adapter ring and all of the methods listed might just push out the bearing...leaving the adapter ring?

Could just beat it out with a chisel too. Not really worried about re-using it I'm sure. Can't really screw up anything back there.

I know you suggested one above. Thought I'd show what one looks like.

I have internal 3 jaw puller too for it.

Invested in that small snap on puller set many years ago and it has paid for it's self many times over by now.

Also have a large set.

C1, no disrespect to you. I was pointing out to the OP, if he's still reading the thread, that this was what I was talking about.

It's surprising how many people don't know the right names for tools.....or even that they exist.
