Where would I get one of these? I run the Clay Smith pump now, like to try something different in the future.

In any even the carter and holley pumps will get a BB car well into the 11's w/o an issue, even w/ tiny 5/16 line.
Yep. IIRC, Dwayne Porter's 440 B-body was in the mid-to-high 10s w/ a mechanical pump and still had the OEM 5/16" line.
My only concern w/ a mechanical pump was when I was still running a Six Pack on The MoPig and had some vapor-lock problems crop up on occasion. The fuel line insulation I added to deal with the issue seemed to work, but certainly took away from the sleeper image.

It will work as long as you can boost reference it. I ran a hi-po carter on my old S/C'd 440. All I did was tap a small 1/4 line into the top of the pump (it's already there maybe for venting)and ran a line from the head unit to the pump.
