I have been very happy with the modman setup. I added a wedge in the plenum to help direct the fuel. It definitely colors the plugs more evenly now. Not sure how much et it was worth because we redid the ladder bars and did not have the time to test the insert back to back before the season started. It is still in the intake and I have been 9.68 with 140lbs of ballast trying to slow down to a 9.75 index.

I am going to try a plenum spacer next to see if it helps or hurts. It will raise the lid up an inch. Those seem to have helped the old STR intakes. So we will find out next weekend.

I'd like to see an engine using a MOD MAN intake equipped with individual O2 sensors on each exhaust to get a sense for the air/fuel distribution. It's such a low-tech appearing design that any application not using multiple carbs (or throttle bodies, I suppose) could have some "interesting" air/fuel variations from one end to the other.
