I'm staying with the cal-trac mono split spring and now in search mode for that "good shock"

AFCOS.........That`s probably going to be my next investment when I start racing again and Calvert can hook you up or I`m sure some on here can also. After reading about all of the extra work to make ladder bars work on the street I`d go Cal-Tracs w/the longer ft. segment w/good shocks and be done with it but hey, I`m lazy I guess.........

Ladder bar with leaf springs and a floater actually work pretty good! I used to crew for a guy that ran that set up and that thing was deadly consistant. If I would have been smarter back then I would have bought that car when he offered it to me for $5,500 turn key with an indy head motor in it!

Ladder bars and floater will work but you still need
a decent set of shocks... the only problem with the
ladder bar and leafs is the added weight... pick up
a set of leaf springs vs a pair of coil over springs

Thats what I had and worked good up until I got to the low 10's and even with new slicks and adjustable shocks my 60 foot times would vary a tenth from run to run. Besides going away from leafs you cut out a bunch of weight.

I'm not too concerned with the weight, I will be adding a A/W intercooler and cage soon anyway so I'll be adding a couple hundred pounds easy. The car weighs 2915 without me in it so race weight when I get the cage and intercooler in will be close to 3300 with me in it.

Just remember if you go with the floaters to keep them
clean and lubed .. otherwise they will bind up and
give you all sorts of problems

I just found a nice set of coilovers from S&W that are affordable...so I might go that route. I've got alittle bit of time to decide anyway, I'm waiting on money lol
