Cab I agree. We had at least 5 of them. All had 8 3/4s in them.I do remember the 62s had a small spring type on top of the housing.I believe it was a form of sway bar.My kid still complains because he scraped the one he had.Rocky

If you can find an early 60s Imperial , they had Danas but the bolt pattern is the same as the older Ford P/us . Its 5 hole but maybe 6" bolt pattern
Me thanks that was not so on the Dana 60s in Imperial, I had a number of those cars, pre 1966, and all of them had 8 3/4 in them
The three that I parted out a 59 Crown vert, 2 60s (one crown and not sure of the other model) all had Danas . as a matter of fact , I took the front drums off the Imp and used the bearings on my Ford P/u........ I also used the factory slotted 59 crown wheels on my Ford P/U . ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/beer.gif)
Maybe it was a Canadian thing lol
Must have been, bigger and stronger for the tough Candian roads I parted out several Lebarons and Crown Imperials, none of them had Dana-Spicer type rear ends in them I agree on the larger bolt pattern, same as the early (pre 1949)Ford passenger cars and all of the 1/2 ton pickups from 1940 on, Mercurys,Lincoln , I.H. Scouts and several others cars that used the 5.5 on 5 bolt pattern, not sure on the front wheel bearing sizes though ![](/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif)
Mr.Cab Racing and winning with Mopars since 1964. (Old F--t, Huh)
