I plan to race a real race car for once

upgrading the fuel system and still trying to make a decision on the headers so I can finish tuning in the E-85, next winter will be tearing the car completely apart and re-doing the body work and paint from bumper to bumper, it's starting to get some battle scars after 14 years.

I hope to finish this pile I've been dabbling with for the past 6 years. I'll have to admit it's had a bunch of scope creep after I started hanging around here.

I'm building a new set of stepped headers with merge collectors, will be heading down to AZ mid-February for the NHRA national event at Wild Horse Pass, and also the (2) Div. 7 races at the end of Feb. Maybe will make the Vegas races at the end of Mar, then the first Div. 5 race in Great Bend, KS. Sometime during the 2014 season I plan to change out my 850 Holley body to a 1000 CFM Proform that I bought last summer.

I want to get well then beat the snot out of a certain orange Dart at his home track!!

Well I guess some waht big plans.

First is to get the Duster to the track atleast a couple of times. New paint, new carb, new rims, new tires and new brakes to name a few of the new things on it. Gotta make a showing...

I bought a 63 Baja bug a couple months ago, it needs some little things I am not happy with. Then hit the trails here in AZ. That should be fun.See pic

Also bought a 71 Torino GT to have as a fun car I can go anywhere with. totally stock and plan to keep it that way.

Start to get the interior of the bus finished. So it looks halfway decent.

Then there is the secret project. I know the motor is being built as money has passed hands and pics of progress have been sent. The chassis is underway, parts purchased and all that fun stuff. The painter is lined up so it is rolling. I was told it would be back in my hands by May/June time frame. Then to paint and if all the planets align, passes in Oct when it is starting to cool off.

That is it.

I am in the process of gathering parts to build a KB low deck Predator 540, thanks to Steve Gill and Boatracer 572. Hoping for a screaming dragster motor about mid year.

Making progress. I just removed my cheater box and sent it out for a rebuild

I am collecting parts to replace the 408/727 from my Stratus with a low deck 540 w/ B1 heads and a Glide. Should be a solid 300HP upgrade

Just a few things to tend to:

1. Get rid of the crappy FC dizzy and switch to a crank trigger.
2. Change to a 4.56 gear from the 4.10's.
3. Try and lower and maybe even move the engine back a little if possible.
4. Look for a few more ways to try and whittle off another 50lbs or so.

The Duster is getting a few upgrades.

I forgot... I have a couple of things to do on the
Rampage then get it out to the track and work on the
60' first... it hasnt been on the track yet

took 2013 off do to health problems. had surgery on my left arm in January. In July we bought a house, then I got hurt a work in August and had to have surgery on my right elbow. I still need to put the heads back on and put the car back together. changing the rear wheels to beadlocks and new slicks and hook up the 2nd stage of nitrous. If I can keep from getting hurt anymore we should be ready to go by March.

Just a rebuild over here for the most part. Hoping to make a little more power when it comes back
