How many of you are planning changes for 2014? What are they? Jim is going thru my chassis and we will get it to certify for the 9.xx or better. I am quite happy with the engine so no changes there. I have also asked him to drive the beater next year!

New slicks and maybe an air shifter setup.

Installing a cage in our '65 Dart right now. Probably won't be ready by next year but who knows?

Parking my dart to go through it and do some bodywork, but recently acquired this from the old man to keep me entertained...
We built it as I was growing up, so I'm glad it's staying in the family

Some small changes in the works, but I just want to go through it then drive/race the wheels off it

Parking the Hemi Cuda until I figure out what is up with it....Still runs, but every time I take it to the track it has a hesitation I am unable to find.

But for the 2013 Championship winning Duster, we have a small list of upgrades I am hoping to do:

1-Wilwoods on all four corners
2-Relocate the master cylinder to the chassis
3-New slicks
4-Finish the tin work for the interior
5-Finish painting the floor and cage
6-Bigger fire extinguisher
7-Cut out rear cross sub-frame that's badly notched for clearance and install a new tubular one
8-Fix oil leak
9-Tubular upper A-arms
10-SV1 carburator
11-re-scale the car

Whatever money & time allows

Well I hope to have the Daytona out by April. That will depend on $$$'s. I'm installing my tried and true W2 416 in it.

Time and motivation to work on the car seems to slow things down around here, but I'm still hoping to get a hit on the car this year. We've caged it, went to a coil over tube K set up which means the headers won't fit..getting that handled tuesday. That should be the biggest hurdle to getting the car completed with the 400hp iron head 360 combo up and running. The W8/R3 combo should be done shortly also and will require another set of headers so we'll need to adapt to a little more HP when that's completed. I'm just hoping to hit a few mopar events (MaTS, Famoso, Sacramento) as well as run at the new track in Phoenix and hopefully return to Fontana as they should be going in 2014. If not, I'll just hit some Vegas races.

Under my budget constraints nothing major.
Some tires & a little chassis work to make it hook.
I'm probably going to hit it with a little giggle gas as well since I already have the setup.

My main focus for 2014 is to just get out to some different tracks and have some fun.

Am still trying to buy that 27T roadster 1850 lbs S/C S/G car but me thinks the guy imagines he has "gold" instead of a used race car.

Me too. I'm tired of reaching for the stars when I don't have the budget for it. I'm scaling my plans WAY back and just want to make some passes next year. I've been spectating for 10 years and am tired of it.

Dennis...I think we are going to stay local. No sense driving a bunch of miles when the payouts/entry fees really aren't that bad here. It would be fun to hit one of the big Mopar events but I don't see it happening.

Well going for more street than strip sometimes costs more money so progress will be slow.Pulling the race clutch and drivetrain out and putting a street friendly setup in .Pulling the spool and gear and installing a powerlock unit.Mount a hoodscoop I bought a few years back and paint the old girl.

Ted I have been collecting parts to get ready for paint(emblems, door handles, bumpers, window rubber,etc...) You know the drill I don't want to put corroded pitted or rusted parts on a fresh paint job
