Why not a Tim Hyatt Soft Lock slipper clutch? Back when my car ran it was great, wind pressure up for street, wind down for track. The clutch is not why the car is not running, a bad roller lifter coinciding with an off grid house build is the primary culprit there.

And a run-away yacht! Hi David hope all is well down there.

I'm surprised no one is running a paddle style disc.
I ran one the street/road course/drag strip and had no issues. No chatter. Shifting improves with the paddle disc

Poor concentricity of engine to trans will cause chatter.

I run them on the front wheel drive cars for years and will again. With the small flywheel size on the 2.2 engines you need all the help you can get with over 400 lb/ft of torque.

I remember those pictures man that was some scary stuff
I have talked with Tim a few times about a street/strip plate and disc but I just don't race my car enough anymore to justify the expense of a custom adjustable plate and an iron disc.I am just going to build it this time for a street car that I occasionally race a few times a year for fun.

LOL, yes there was that too wasn't there... We are doing great, thanks. Actually just put in the majority of the wood order to build new yacht to same design as determined this one too far gone. Will reuse all hardware, rig, keels, rudders, interior panels etc.
