I spend 99% of my time in the Race section, so looking here for your help. Who makes a nice aftermarket or replacement set of LH and RH acorn lug nuts for 69 Super Bee ? I am doing an engine for a customer and he asked me, and I am not up on all the resto parts. Want a good quality set, dont need to be 100% concours, just nice and realtively similar.

Thank you for your advice.

If you are just looking for replacement ones, and not 'correct' look in the wheels for sale section of the classifieds..I've got some there with pics

Todd:

If it's an A12 car and you need the chrome ones, then you can get them right from Chrysler. I have the part #'s at the shop. They don't have the corrct titts in the center, but they are pretty close and should fit the bill.

I thought the ones that looked close that he had were 13/16 hex. At least when I compared them at the last swapmeet I saw him at (he's local). Did I miss something. He does have good priced billet wheel spacers.

Maybe, but they are high quality with nice plating and are the correct hex. Yeah, i have seen those cheap Chinese garbage lug nuts. Chrome peels right off the first time you put a socket on it. But hey, they are cheap, so it's all good.

Welcome to the new economy

Thanks Mike. If you get a chance, email me the numbers, or I can get them from you next weekend. Is everything still a go? Wayne said it was a little light, but wasnt cancelled as far as I know?

This guy will definately want the better quality pieces. Thanks for the responses.

Also need your directions so I can Mapquest and also get a hotel.

Thanks

hmmm, and how is that any different from the bucket full of rusty, chrome peeling CHRYSLER lugnuts I have replaced and collected over the years.

I have NEVER seen a lugnut NOT rust or peel after a short while stock from chrysler or a replacement from the parts store. they all peel and rust.

but maybe its just the way Im installing them. i used a lug wrench. are you using some sort of magical non contacting lug nut installtion device?

Do the original 1970 ones with the top center tit , have an L or any marks that lets you know it is left hand thread?
