Right Mick, I don't have the hard line that runs from the vapor separator to the tee to the carbs. They won't sell me just that one without buying a whole set for the carbs. Had to use rubber and contacting that radiator hose probably isn't optimum, but so far it's run fine.

Since you work in a dealership, I'd expect someone there to have an infrared temp gun.
Get REAL readings of the thermostat opening temp, top tank temp and lower tank temp when circuilating.
