Hey all, I am looking for a source for bolts similar to the one in the picture.
I need at least 4 of them for my transmission install.
I would like to find something with the captive washer, rather than use a flange bolt, or bolt and separate washer.
Since the Ultra Bell has a wider flange, I need some bolts 3/16 to a 1/4 inch longer than the factory to get correct thread engagement.
Thanks for any help.
you could just ask me?? I have some of those..now that i go look at my PM.. I think you did ask me and I dont remember if I replied to you or not???
if I did not reply plez forgive me. I must have over looked it or something.
those are the ones that use a 5/8" wrench IIRC
most times on a SB they are the lowest ones in the bell and go in from the front of for ears on block by starter and oil filter.
I also scratch those up for the starter when no stud/nut is present on used trans replacments.
you want long ones correct? they do come in different sizes and are used on truck xmemebers also IIRC. but short.
I scratch up some from the majic shed.

I just checked, end of Aug. sorry dude. I sliped on a responce i think. after reading it again. you want the regular bell housing bolts but longer ones correct? I have the ones that take a 5/8" socket and the ones that take a 9/16" socket I cant remeber the actual bolt size and thred/pitch but I do know them when I see them in a bucket of 1000s of other bolts.

Hey scratch, I am really needing the 3/8-16 in the 1-1/2 inch length.
Even the web link posted doesn't have them in the length I need. They have the factory length, and some that are too long.
I need at least 4 of them, but a few extra to put in the bolt bin would be handy.
