Ernst, you sure you dont want to put a SB mopar in it now as long as its apart this far and then later go with the 5.7 idea I bet you can get enough $$$ for the ford to off set the small block mopar back in 1976 I bought my 48 morris van with a 289 in it and over the next winter I changed it over to a 318, sold the ford for $600. and bought a 318 with less than 10K mi on it for $300. I know it might be a little more work right now than to just drop the old engine back in, but I think it would be worth the effort, just my

You sure are free with spending my money. I'm not going to do 2 motor swaps. When I restore the truck I will put a mopar Gen 3 Hemi driveline in it at that time, till then I plan on driving it and enjoying it

Looks great!!. What are your plans on this? Are you going to get all the body work done and leave it in primer, or go ahead and paint it.

Took the better part of a day but I got both doors off the 37 and fitted the new drivers door, now both of them are at the glass shop for new glass and the install of power windows
