Thanks to all for the encouragement To answer your question, one word.......skeered! I'm not a consistently good welder, if it looks good, it's more by accident/luck than skill. I know that more goes into narrowing a housing than just cutting the tubes and making a pretty weld. I would do the perches ok but ill draw the line there. There's a lot to do on the car while searching and or saving up for the rear, I must keep focus. Several mopar swap meets not too far away in both distance and time and I will be hoping to find that needle in the hay stack ( with a little help from my friends ) with tape measure in hand. I have to do the permanant installation of the radiator, fan clutch, cooler lines and hoses. All of the underhood wiring too. Etc. That reminded me of an issue with the Hayden fan clutch, no centering/alignment bushing was in the box and it is very loose on the water pump shaft, does someone know if I was supposed to have received one in the box or know of one I can purchase? I believe the water pump shaft is 5/8". Thanks to all.

I have a solution to the narrowed 8.75 snag! In two words......Doctor Diff Dan did say to give him a call but I'll admit I was a bit apprehensive. Having support from Dan, The Doctor and Mr. Paul Bassett @ PB-Performance all issues resolved. That being said, it doesn't mean I won't be looking for a deal at the next few Mopar swap meets with tape measure in hand.

This better work because I don't think they will accept them as a return after I cut on them I decided to work a little on the radiator and fan shroud. I think the Rad is for a Polara big block and the shroud is for a Hemi RR.

that's got to go. The studs and the section of rad bracket.....cut. The studs don't line up with the holes in the shroud both sides. Need to cut that notch out too for that side of the shroud.

The other side...... I was going to go with an aluminum radiator set-up but the last car show I saw several aluminum radiators looking a bit powdery-white and asked "how do you clean that?" " you don't, just paint it black when it gets bad. Oh...... The OEM looking set-up looks cool to me anyway and I like the Black contrast too. 26" three row Copper and Brass.

Back to the Tubs. The finish work seems to be the hard part. A few more pictures.

I couldn't figure out how to keep the sheet metal tight to fill the rosettes welds in so I improvised. I knew that scissor jack would come in handy.
