**Make sure you are wearing Eye Protection at all times** A trip to the ER doesn't get the project done quicker. Besides, if you cant open your Eyes, how can you see your wonderful work? Duh! I made sharp punch dimples at the corners for reference and some along strategic points to help guide me while cutting. To get started, I just cut enough with the sizz-wheel to fit the Sawsall blade through. The forward section required three starter cuts/slots. The lower vertical line cut starts up from the bottom pinch weld area, no need for a starter cut. I kept the Seat Back Lower Tab in the stock area with that staggered cut rather than having to weld a new tab on.

The rearward section required four starter cuts/slots. The far right one (kinda hard to see) is for the edge of the frame rail arch. Again, the vertical cut (not marked with and arrow) that splits the center of the tub starts from the bottom pinch weld area up.

I guess I'de rather suffer through scraping the undercoat than seeing allot of rust or even worst the dreaded cancer/rot! The frame rail wasn't so bad, it's pretty flat and you don't have to scrape over your head like in the upper part of the wheel well.

The diameter looks perfect but I don't expect to have it that low in the rear. Great for measurements. Here's more.

Before someone has to ask. They are 275-60-15 on ten inch torque thrust wheels. and now they seem they will actually fit Ricky did you get an approximate backspace to figure your rear axle width?
