Thanks! I'm still running the power steering. I've heard talk of manual racks - but never seen a supposed manual rack from a '97 that's been reported. No cutting for tire clearances. Both front and rears now 29" tall. You could make one quite a bit lighter if you were making it a race only vehicle. I still want my ice cold AC and stereo.
Here is the full list of specs: 99 RC R/T Stock block 2-bolt mains, stock bolts, no fill .030 over Probe forged pistons 8.8:1 Eagle H-Beams Rods Forged Scat Crank Internally Balanced 2.02 EQ heads (home ported) Cometic head gaskets New stock head bolts Comp cams 236° duration, .546"/.546", 114° lsa, retarded 4° Mopar Performance springs Mopar Performance titanium retainers Crane Gold 1.6 aluminum roller rockers Trick Flow pushrods 2 bbl M1 intake F&B 50mm throttle body Single 76mm turbo w/T4 .96 A/R turbine CBE turbo header CBE air/water intercooler airhat Ebay blowoff valve Tial 44mm wastegate 4" downpipe to 4" Hooker Morflow muffler MSD 6AL ignition with Blaster coil MSD 8.5mm wires Autolite 3923 plugs MS3X Standalone control 66# injectors KB boost-a-pump Holley 12-922 forced induction intank pump MSD inline booster pump Built trans with transgo shift kit Precision Industries Viper 4,000 stall convertor (flashes to 4800 with full boost) 3.92 rearend with Detroit Locker Jeep Cherokee Rear Disk Brake conversion Trick front springs QA-1 Single Adjustable front shocks CalTracs with Monoleaf springs - extended rear arms Calvert Racing rear shocks Hoosier 29x12.5x15 slicks Bogart rims MT 29x4.5 ET Fronts Fiberglass front bumper and rollpan Twin 11" electric fans RCI Trans Blanket Driveshaft Loop Summit SFI Balancer 5-Point Rollbar Simpson 5-Point SFI Belts 4-Gallon fuel cell for Intercooler Ice system Probably down to a race weight of 4000# - haven't weighed it in a while
Best pass so far was a 10.61 @ 133 mph with a horrible 1.7X something 60'. Last pass down the track was a 10.72 @ 126 mph with a 1.43 60' time on much less boost. The coulda, woulda, shoulda line is that turning the boost back up should net a pretty low 10-second timeslip. I'll believe it when I have the slip. LOL
