I'm guessing it's a swept line looking at the front motor mounts.
In an earlier post here, it was mentioned that the trans was supported with the bell housing. Now I am totally confused. Must be different years or applications.
The pictured truck looks sweet. Very nice install there.

I can screw up anything.

The truck I posted a picture of is a 64. The factory cut the bell crossmember and built spanners. The other crossmember is used to support the automatic transmission.

Here is a 63 manual transmission frame for comparison.

Just a quick update..Thanks to those who replied here as well. We have the trans in and have the crossmembers fabbed up. Will attach a pic of the trans member. Just need to locate a yoke now and we will be in business. Oh yeah we have lowered the truck about 6" as well
