Did you see A Gallant 71 RT car this past weekend at Carlisle? His rear bezel was trimmed with argent at the top and he was saying how correct his car was restored to OEM. web page Click on the third screen down with the 440 6 pak motor, it's all the way at the end of the video.

Yea I guess it is funny years later. I plan to strip that grill someday and repaint it and it'll be good for a nice driver. Too bad he let it get cracked/broken, it was a nice grill minus the paint job.

Ken Mosier has provided me with some tips on how to polish up the black plastic which I'll try in the next few weeks. ...
Did he have any suggestions on how to remove the argent paint from a grille so as not to damage the black plastic underneath it so you can leave it natural black??
Years ago 69Mannix suggested to me soaking the grille in old brake fluid to remove the argent delicately. I've never tried it.

I tried that....absolutely no effect Soda-blasting is a possibility on my list. I asked them how it would leave the finish of the plastic, they told me to bring the grill in and they would do a test on the back....
