thought Id start a post about my resto...
Its a VERY rusty 71 318 auto on the floor FE5 barracuda vert. Car is 100% complete, still has the original top and coded rear top glass,( Which I'm hoping I can some how re-use )... all the glass is perfect even the door mirror glass.

Both pass and driver side cowl is rusted off the rocker, The car just wants to die when you open the doors..

Got some progress done to day, both sides done, hinges rebuilt...(thanks to resto Rick)....The doors are on and you can open them now without them falling to the floor

just received all the AlterKtion front end with 12.90 drilled/slotted 6 piston brakes and the lynx rear set up with the same brakes for the back...starting the mock up, pics to follow

In the process of fitting the motor and some major cutting getting the 6 speed fitted, got the wrong bell housing twice now, so progress has been slow. As soon as I get the right one I will post some pics..

Got the mock up motor and the 6 speed installed today.. Didn't have to cut as much as the floor out as I thought, only slit one side and raised it about an inch and if fit nicely...

Details please on your quarters. Did you use hardtop ones and cut and fit while retaining the upper vert section or did you use the AMD vert pieces that apparently are not offered anymore (gone from website).

Ill post more pics soon, the door panels had to be shorted in height and length and all edges built out of fiberglass, almost done and will be sending them off to just dashes to get them covered.
As far as the quarters, they are the convertible quarter's AMD had advertised, although they don't make them, A guy named Ken with convertible conversion makes and sells them..

What are you going to do with the rear interior panels to convert in to convertible panels........

I bought the cross member from American powertrain, although I think they buy them from some one else, They are very nice....

I would say no at this point...
But Im considering a satin or flat white for a main color with bronze wheels similar to the hellcat wheels with a dark tan/brownish interior
